I read a Chinese blog entry talking about Lego 21003 Seattle Space Needle, and little surprise to find out that a scissor is needed for doing this set, so could this be the start of something even worser than stickers?

You can check out the Official Lego instruction at Page 12 of the document

Cutting this seems to be simple, just hope that no complicated cutting will be introduced in future sets.

By the way, it is also a surprise that The Seattle Space Needle is made into a Lego set, the place is nice, but not really that special, if not because the local vendors charged HKD 269 (around USD 35!) for this set, I may get one as this is a place I visited a couple times after all.

Seattle is a wonderful city, and being close to Vancouver (where a lot of Chinese immigrants live) is a good thing to me (it is only a few hours away via Amtrak), only caveat is that the Chinese restaurants there are mostly terrible (let me know if you have tried a good one).

I do NOT own this set, but I can share some photos on the Seattle Space Needle:

What you can see on the Seattle Space Needle, nice view!
